Staying healthy matters, and we know you don't have time to get sick. When sickness happens anyway, our same-day sick visits cover the most common illnesses for adults and children.
Colds, Flu and COVID-19
We treat the common cold, flu (influenza), bronchitis and sinus infections, and we offer COVID-19 testing. Sore Throat, Ear and Eye Problems
A sore throat can be a virus or strep throat. A rapid strep test tells the difference so you only get antibiotics when they will help. We also diagnose and treat ear infections and pink eye, and provide eye and ear evaluation and irrigation.
Allergies and Asthma
We evaluate allergy symptoms and help manage mild asthma flare-ups. If you have severe shortness of breath or difficulty breathing, call 911 or go to the nearest emergency room.
Urinary Tract Infections and Mono
We test for and treat urinary tract infections (UTIs) with an on-site urinalysis, and we test for mono when your symptoms point to it.
Stomach Illness: Nausea, Vomiting and Diarrhea
Stomach bugs and food-related illness can leave you weak and dehydrated. Our providers assess how serious your symptoms are, treat what can be treated in the clinic and tell you when you need more care.
Rashes, Head Lice, Gout and Preventive Shots
We diagnose and treat rashes, head lice and gout flare-ups. We also give tetanus shots and TB skin tests.

How We Diagnose Your Illness
Diagnosis starts with a provider exam and a review of your symptoms and medical history. When a test will change your treatment, we run it in the clinic:
- Rapid tests for flu, strep, COVID-19, RSV and mono
- Urinalysis and pregnancy tests
- Lab work, with send-out testing for results that need an outside lab (does urgent care do blood work?)
- On-site X-ray and EKG when your symptoms call for them

Illness Treatment and Prescriptions
Once we know what is causing your symptoms, your provider explains the diagnosis and your treatment plan before you leave. Feeling Too Sick to Leave Home?
For colds, flu, sore throat, UTIs, pink eye, rashes, allergies and sinus problems, you can see a provider by video. Telehealth visits are available to residents of Louisiana, Mississippi and Oregon for $100 self-pay, or we bill your insurance.
When to Go to the Emergency Room Instead
Visit the emergency room if you have any of the following symptoms:
- Severe chest pain
- Severe shortness of breath or difficulty breathing
- Suspected poisoning
- Severe abdominal pain
- Uncontrolled bleeding
- Confusion or change in mental status
- Sudden fainting, dizziness, numbness or weakness
- Coughing or vomiting up blood
- Injury to head or neck
- Extreme high fever
